HINT:
• Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
• The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY
TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the
cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to
prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
2. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE BACK DOOR SCUFF PLATE (See page IR-
8)
4. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH (See page IR-8)
5. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH (See page IR-8)
6. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR FLOOR BOARD (See page IR-
9)
8. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY (See
page SE-17)
9. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (See
page SE-17)
10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (See page
IR-9)
11. REMOVE LUGGAGE NO. 1 COMPARTMENT TRIM
HOOK
12. REMOVE SIDE NO. 1 TRIM ASSEMBLY LH (See page
IR-10)
13. REMOVE REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Remove the 3 screws and rear speaker.
