Many kids (not that i say you are one) ,even I, Wanted a turbo when i was young just for the cool blowoff valve. Remember when you're going boost, all motor, or juice with anything, to think about what you want. If you wanna sound cool and be fast at all costs, then yeah a turbo would be great. If you research enough to know what you are installing then you should be okay. Also remember where you live, I'm in Cali and putting on an aftermarket turbo that is not legal would be tough to stay away from fines. Also as for me im trying to get into autoX so i just got a few suspension mods and im just trying to be a better driver. But anyway to answer you're question, Atleast with a TRD supercharger, you would not be able to make a genuine blow off sound. The Supercharger has more of a whistle, which doesnt sound too bad.
Now Navylife go ahead and further educate, since i couldnt care less about FI.
