Good research. This motor is quickly becoming like the 350 short block of GM; it's in everything. The new xB and now the 2009 Corolla/Matrix will be sporting 2AZ love under the hood. This will start making used motors more accessible and drive the cost of crate motors down.
What is wrong w/ your motor? It might just serve you better to have it rebuilt.
