well, if you bought from ebay then i will say it's the ballast itself. if it was the bulb then you'd either get a constant flicker and or the bulb would go out. a good way to check is next time you get the flicker or the bulb goes out, turn your lights off then immediately turn them back on , if they fire up then it's a faulty ballast. like i said, if it's ebay then that's your mistake right there.
again, i can't stress enough on the fact that if your drl's aren't disabled you will get the flicker no matter what. reason being is your drl's don't supply enough wattage to power the kit, now if you turn your lights on it draws more wattage which the kit needs to feed off.
