short ram intakes arent all that bad and the power you gain from a CAI is very small (1-2 hp at the MOST!). Its all user preference..If you want a louder more agressive sounding car go with the short ram and if you must have every single hp there is to get then go with the CAI. I personally could careless about the extra hp you gain with the CAI, Il gain it with another mod like an exhaust. Modding the stock intake is only an alternative to those who dont have an intake yet or prefer to stay stock. It does have gains, I just dont have a dyno on hand to prove it.
