Shifting gears does not matter. Try Royal Purple Water Wetter. It really does lower the temps by making the coolant a better conductor of heat. Try a cooler thermostat. Run your A/C before you race, shut off when you race. The A/C has extra fan to pull more air over the condenser and thusly your radiator. Run A/C at lowest output (not max). This creates the least amount of heat over the A/C. Every lil' bit helps. You could also add a larger fan and/or radiator. There are also several companies out there that offer thermal wraps/shielding. You can get a hood with the big blow-thru vent above the header to exhaust out that heat. There are radiator air diversion panels on the market, but I see no conclusive evidence that they are more than bling. The factory hood has rubber gaskets to to keep the air from leaking. It may not be perfect, but it works. You can also add an oil and tranny coolers. There are also thermoelectric coolers to be had for cooling water and your fuel.Name: tC Oil Cooler.JPG
