You can do much more with a turbo. Now as for wanting to run 15-20 PSI, you have a few things to worry bout when going that route.

1. Theres some turbo tC guys out here in hawaii that have a problem with cracked manifolds, dunno if this is just company specific or what

2. Lack of a LSD and the engine itself. the LSD should speak for itself, you turbo or super it should be NESECCITY. Now as for the engine, it might stand up to 15 psi for a while, but it WILL blow out, and rather quickly. You need to build the motor, possibly sleve the block, so you can reliably use over a pound of boost (14.7psi) The tC's motor is very "Middle Heavy" as ill call it. It comes into itself around 3000 or so RPM, right where the turbo comes on. So theres some work to be done engine wise, for the boost level you want to run.

3. I can allready tell a blown motor is in your future (sorry to be bleak), because your saying allready, the turbo is built for up to 28psi (a little over 2lbs of boost) instead of sizing the turbo to what exactly you want to do in the car.

4. You will need to keep an eye on your transmission.

Honestly if i was you, id worry more about just staying 6-8psi of boost. The itch will hit to turn the knob to see just what a lil more can do. Wait until you can make the car ready for the amount of boost you want to run, before you take the dive. Im not saying dont turbo, or to go supercharger, im saying just make sure your ducks are in a row before you cross the pond.
