The tC needs you to spin the tires off on launch to get decent times. With an open axle setup, especially this car, when the one tire breaks traction the other tries to grab traction. The prob is that on a hard launch both tires will loose traction. You will have to feather your clutch in and out a few times to maintain your grip but your torque curve is going to start dropp'n off. If your turbo then you aren't going to have the higher RPM's for your power curve. The best thing to do is to keep your RPM's up which means wheel spin. I tried it both ways and the wheel spin is the only thing that gets me up and going. An LSD and better tires would turn the equation around 180.
