Default Removing selt belt warning???

has anyone gotten this to work on an 07???? ive tried and cant get it to work... you have to turn the key to the on position to get the screen to show anything, not the acc like it states. when you turn it to the on position while holding the button the odo setting shows all lines and flashes in a count down pattern, when its done it shows all 0's then shows normal... is it different on a n 07/ can it be done on an 07!?!!??!

Difficulty (1-5): 1
Time Frame: 2 Minutes

Although I do believe the seatbelt warning is a great feature for those who forget to put on their seatbelt (of which I know several who do), it gets annoying real quick when temporarily take off the seatbelt. Once you have thoroughly warned anyone that may remotely use your car to put on their seatbelt, use this procedure to turn off that beep.

Step 1: First make sure the "lifetime" odometer reading is on and not Trip A or B. Than put the key in the ignition. While holding down the odometer button, turn the key to "ACC"

Step 2: Hold the odometer button for about 10 seconds.

Step 3: Than click the seatbelt into place while still holding the odometer button.

Step 4: The odometer reading should change to read "B-OFF".
