I'm just going to put my 2 cents in. If anyone has read my article on headlight bulbs (see below), you'll know my opinion on aftermarket bulbs. Back when I used to have a Honda I've gone through several bulb manufacturers from Piaa to Nokyas. I have a very low opinion on most aftermarket bulbs whether they were Japanese made or Korean, because of decrease in vision and low life span. There were two manufacturers that I did like and that was Syvania and Philips. Their lights provided an actual increase in light above stock but they were not hyperwhite like most people want. They were whiter but you could still see hints of yellow in there.

Now, just recently I recieved a set of Luminix hyperwhite bulbs for free from a friend. I was skeptical of these bulbs just because the glass was tinted quite blue, but hey they were free. I've had them in my car for appx. 6 months. Light output, I'd have to say (without any scientific methods) seem to be very close to stock, probably not as good but close. The lights are very white, which is what most people want. I've checked my harnesses and after 6 months they still seem to be okay. I have my lights on everytime I drive, even during the daytime because of the auto turn-off feature of the TC. This doesn't mean I am endorsing these bulbs, just my 2 cents.
