About LinkBacksso recently, ive been making a model engine out of knex... and im basing it off of the 2.4L in my tC. i tried to make it as precise as possible.
trd supercharger? although sadly, my car is still bone stock.
its linked up and 100% functional. unfortunately, due to the limited gear ratios that knex offers, it works in a 2 stroke cycle but the valves still do open/close in time with their respective pistons. its still under progress but i'll post a video of it up and running once i complete it

Awesome. I would have never thought about doing something like that. What was your inspiration?

doesnt take too much time actually... well i guess it does altogether but i usually just add little by little when i feel like it. a month long winter break with no job leaves me with tons of recreational time =) Originally Posted by z28jjay

Dude, that is amazing. Hurry up with the vid. I can't wait to see it in action. Something like this could make it on Scion.Com. How much time do you have into this project? How many sets of KNEX did it take? Instead of rep'n Butterfinger, how about I see if JRW-910 will spot you a Club-tC.com decal?

hah i wasnt reppin butterfinger.. it was just there for size reference(i dont know why). but yea, i dont mind having a club-tc decal on my next vid.. in fact it sounds like a good idea. im currently using 2 sets of the hyperspace training tower(about 2500 pcs each) with a few additional pieces i had to order. i should be done in about a week or two so i'll post it up once complete Originally Posted by navylife59

1) Awesome job! But get a better video to really show off your work.
2) Next project, slap that engine into a tC made of KNEX.
