I will go on the book as saying I am a Republican....I really had no choice but to vote for McCane...I was hoping that the Republican Senator from TX would make it further, but oh well....

As for Obamas "STIMULUS" package...it is really hard to bite down on...I watched the address to the nation last night and the only thing that I could think of was a line from Star Wars..."the end of democracy ends with thunderous applause"......welcome to the beginning of a socialist country....

now I know that there will be some people who will bash me for my opinion but remember this is just my opinion...we are entitled to have one...for now any way...

I think the plan is retarded. Most of the country is having money issues right now, so Obama decides to try and make things better. One of his major points in the plan is to get the banks to lend out more money. Does anyone else see a problem with this? If you have no job, or are overwhelmed with debt, why the hell would you need to take out a loan that makes you owe MORE money? Lending more money and putting people farther into debt will not bring people out of debt.

I am sure that everyone on this site is educated so you will know where I am coming form with this....the one thing that people are/may not be aware of is...without debt the country would be penniless.....it is the nature of the beast that in order the have any kind of "WEALTH" for a nation it has to have debt....this is what drives the economy and interest rates, and anything that is tied to the current monetary system....the banks "USED" to run the world...they were the ones that determined the value of the dollar....H**L 75%of the money that the country owes doesn't even really and truly exist....it is all simply electronic....

I have nothing but high hopes that this works, but what kind of "PLAN B" do they have if this completely fails....I can assure you they don't have a plan B...with that being said the country/world economies will completely collapse...oh when that happens we will usher in a new North America that encompasses Canada and Mexico...creating the North American Union...oh and the Amero, which would replace the American and Canadian Dollar and the Mexican Peso

Do you think that we as a nation are ready for this....

Of course!!! As long as you aren't smelly, I can make room. I'm not too big of a person! I think his economic policies are completely bogus, naive, and a half retarded chimpanzee would probably come up with a better plan. Sadly, last semester I had to analyze and critique Obama's economic policies for my Global Economic Policies class and I cringed the whole time while reading it. There were point where I was just going on about what a moron he is based on those policies. Needless to say, I got an A on my paper and I desperately had to condense 15 pages into 10. It sucked. I can go on and on about how retarded his economic views are. The country is in debt, you can't just keep bailing out big banks who screwed us over to begin with then when they got OUR (the taxpayers) money as a bail out, they all went on cruises and had the time of their lives. Our hard earned tax dollars can't keep going to bail out idiots who didn't invest wisely and yet still lead better lifestyles than the average joe ever will even DREAM of having. *sigh* If I go on, this will turn into a horrible rant.

Let's look back at Econ 101 ... The economy is in a circle, just like everything else. Recession is normal. People just need to accept that it's just how things always have worked. Sadly, people don't realize that the economy works in stages and everyone just wants to bash the leader and think that everything revolves around him or her. Bah. People are so ignorant sometimes. After periods of recession, the economy goes back to being a booming economy and things go back to normal, inflation decreases. Wow. It's amazing what I remember from all 4 horrible econ classes I have had to take. They all felt like death and I dreaded each one and barely passed or paid attention yet I just impressed myself with my knowledge.
