I think your Tundra would use size H11 bulbs, but I'm sure you wouldn't need me to tell you that

Was about to place order then discovered that you had a different brand set for $170. What is the deal with these? Are they better quality? What are the benefits of your slimline ballasts? Looking for the best quality.

The $170.00 Kits are Mobile HID brand. The owners of Mobile HID have been very close partners with us and we have been happily selling their kits. Since their kits were just too expensive, we now have our own brand kits at nearly half the price.
The main difference between the kits are the fancy labels and boxes. By selling our kits with the generic label and box, we can reduce overhead and keep the kits at a low price! Our kits have been tested against the expensive competition and I assure you they are at the highest quality available. We will soon discontinue our Mobile HID availability.
The only difference with the slim kits and the heavy duty kits are the ballast size. The Slim kits are built with a different digital ignitor that allows the size to be compacted for owners that wish to have a slimmer ballast. Navylife, I suggest you just purchase our regular Heavy Duty kits at $80.00 with a relay harness for an additional $20.00. These kits are our hottest selling items and have never received complaints. Yep I know. I preach the same mantra about HIDs only in projector housings, not reflector housings. I am breaking the rule on this one because of all the Jack's Asses (not a curse word, I saw it on Popeye as a kid) around NOLA running around with their damn brights on all the time. My little way of getting back at them.
I plan on eventually dropping the aim on them once they go Corey Hart around here.

The stock headlamp on a 05 Lowbeam would be size 9006! So you would need a 9006 kit. the optional relay harness is also recommended.
