I am unable to drive my tC at the moment. I was pulled over last week and found out that my license is suspended. I had a ticket a while back that I forgot about and never paid or went to court for. So, they suspended my license based on my failure to appear. I was also sent a notice from the MVA (Motor Vehicle Association) that I need to attend a driver improv ment program. I received the notice from the MVA during a time when everyone was moving out of the house that we were in. I do not know where the letter went and forgot about that as well. So, my father is going tomorrow to pay the ticket and I will pay him back, I still have to do the driver improvement program sometime, and I still have to go to court for driving on a suspended license. From everything that I've heard, I will not receive any jail time since this is my first offense. However, with the ticket being paid off tomorrow, I will have accumulated 10 points on my license. That is an automatic suspension. I will have to talk to the judge and see if he will place a restriction on my license so that I can at least drive back and forth to work. As of right now, a friend is driving me and I hate putting that kind of burden on someone. Even though he offered in the first place. My car has been sitting in the driveway since Thursday and I have not even started it. It is a very crushing feeling to not be able to drive my baby. I will keep this thread updated and let everyone know how things go as they unfold.

No worries Mate. Just leave the Country w/o a passport and then re-enter illegally. You would now have the freedom to drive w/o a license or hassle from the police. Maybe cheaper to go to Target and get that Halloween costume that they pulled off the shelf.

Sorry to here about your woes. Need me to come and drive your tC for a while? You may have to get a lawyer for this one. How long is the automatic suspension for?

Sure, come on up here. I don't think a lawyer will be necessary. I don't know how long the suspension is going to be. My father paid the ticket today, so that is gone. I just need to go to the driver improvement class and get that taken care of. Once that is said and done, I just need to wait for the court date and see what the judge has to say.
