    Exclamation plz help rough idle

ok so my 09 tc has been acting funny. i bought it in sept 08. its never tasted anything but midgrade shell gas, oil use royal purp fluids, and k&n filters. i like to think i take great care of the car. the only thing ive messed up on (possibly) is that when i changed the oil last i lost my filter wrench and i didnt have the 1in socket to fit the nut on the oil filter so i left it. the filter that is on the car now is about 4k miles old. im pretty sure the car was idle-ing rough before the oil change but seems a litte more rough now. ive read things about faulty engine mounts, bad spark plugs and 100 other things. can someone help me out? oh and the only thing under the hood is a CAI and HIDs

I notice my car runs pretty rough before I change my oil. I would start there, since you didn't change out the filter, try doing another oil change with the filter. That is just my guess since you said it happened after you changed the oil. Did you use the right type of oil? Did you make sure to put new oil in?

If your going to replace engine mounts, go with Energy Suspension, I did mine and loving them. When you installed a CAI, did you happen to damage or reinstall the MAF sensor incorrectly? I would also check to see if you MAF sensor is dirty and needs to cleaned or possibly replaced. Continue using Top Tier gasoline like Shell, Exxon/Mobil, Chevron and keep your fuel system clean by treating your fuel with a fuel system/fuel injection cleaner every 2,000-4000 miles.
