I like the '08 headlamp assemblies, except for, the ugly bubble in front of the projector. I can assume it is their for optical straightning because of the curvature of the lense cover in front of the projector. What a shame.

BOO Silverstars.... Hooray PIAA

If your going Halogens and want quality, PIAA should be the top of your list. If you still have the reflective housing, dont go HID. Youre putting light everywhere but onto the road. Just get a good set of PIAAs and it will do you fine. I recommend the Xtreme White or X.W. Plus

And if you stay halogen, you just plug them in and reinstall them. Thats it.

Matter of fact heres a link over to car domain for the PIAA bulbs if you wanna check them out

That bubble is there for to help, Scion just didnt decide "hey lets put a bubble right here"

Anyway you have to look at the car at the right angle to see it, so a set of 08's are still high on my list (projector + HID= good)

You should really only run HID's on projector lamps. That is what they are designed for. I am moving this to a relevant thread for you.

I just bought an 08 TC and when looking at the pictures online i thought the headlights were going to be ugly because they have that bulge but seeing the car in person it doesnt affect it at all. I was planning on trading them for 07 headlights until I saw it haha. I was hoping they would at least be HID but we'll see how it looks. I ordered some xenon 10,000k (blue) H11 bulbs to slap in. I'll take some photos and post them up. Now what I still don't like is the tail lights. I dont know if I should smoke them or just trade someone for red ones.

What's up with Toyota's shift to H11's? I have them on my '07 Tunda Crewmax and Camry SE. It is hard to find even stock bulbs for these at parts stores.

They look really nice. Have any of the LED's burned-out during the time that you have has the lights?
