20" rims... ???

This is a discussion on 20" rims... ??? within the Appearance & Detailing forums, part of the Scion tC category; anyone seen 20"s on a tC yet? im thinking of doing Helo Tease's on mine but i dont know if ...

    Default 20" rims... ???

    anyone seen 20"s on a tC yet? im thinking of doing Helo Tease's on mine but i dont know if there is anyway i can shove a 20x8.5 with a +45mm offset on a 225/30/20 into the wheel well and still be able to turn... discuss...

    it's not my style and honestly not very safe.

    19's look ridiculously big on the tC as it is.

    well, unless you're driving on really smooth roads most of the time 20's are kinda bad, your car's gonna ride a LOT rougher, hence making your suspension wear down faster, and your tires will wear down faster than usual. but if you live in a nice area where the roads are cool go for it. oh, and i believe you're right, SCION didn't make their fenders to support that big of wheel with a tire on it, so you may have to do some cutting, or get some sort of crazy body kit or something.

    my friend has 20s on his and rides like crap he didn't have to cut but he loves the ride way better on my 17s but i live in New Orleans
