LED's are your best bet. They are way more durable. I used to install neon back in the mid 90's when I owned a stereo shop. I stopped installing them because I was tired of all the complaining when they caught a rock or popped a curve. It seems like glass does not hold up well to this

Tell me...
When there is an ENTIRE culture against the idea of putting neons on your car and the cops specifically look for people who install them. WHY would you install and sizable investment that does nothing to your car but attract unwanted attention? Often vehicles are described as RICE or RICERS.. not because they are imports but because they have unnecessary and often low cost visual modifications that do absolutely nothing for the overall performance of your car. So I ask you again... WHY?!

But wait!!! I have that really kewl cellphone that looks like a cellphone cause it lights up. Well, it would but the 9-volt batt just went dead.
Actually, I am working on a trick LED for my front grille. It is going to take a steady hand with the Dremel. If it doesn't look like el crapo, I will post some pics once it is done.
