    Default Stereo Questions

First off, I have an 07 TC.

I had a Jensen VM9410 (7 inch flip out TV) in place of my stock stereo. It had two 12'' Rockford Subs and a Rockford Amp. When it was in, the stock speakers inside my car sounded REALLY loud and I loved it. When I took the TV out, the stock speakers seem like they are being limited, is there anyway to make them louder? Like bypass the limiter on them?

Also, is there anyway I can hook my subs and amp up to my stock stereo? Because I really love the us of the controls on the steering wheel, and my TV doesnt support it.

    Thanks for your help.

I would suggust a product like the JL Cleansweep or RF 3Sixty. They will take the signal out of your factory head unit and do some much needed processing before finally sending out a clean low level signal (RCA's). You can then take that signal and put it into other processors (eq's, dsp's, xovers, etc) or on to amps. I have a feeling that a small 4-channel amp will make your stock speakers sound much better.

    Good luck,

Is the RF 3sixty or the JL Cleansweep compatible with an 07 TC stock stereo? Because there is only one auxiliary port, and in the pictures of those products, none of the wires look like they would fit.

Basically, do I need to buy other parts to install it, or will it come with everything and hook directly up to my stereo?

They are both made to work with any stereo. You take the stock head units output wires (2 for each channel for a total of 8) and put them into the either the JL or RF product. Then you will get RCAs that you can run to your amps... get a 4 ch for the front/rear and a 2/1 ch for the sub(s).
