Anyone using any antennas other than the s2000? The s2000 antenna has a dull finish that doesn't match the base and I guess I'm anal like that because it bothers me. Any suggestions and pictures welcome.

The one on ebay looks like it matches pretty well but ive heard that they have horrible reception.
I say stick with the stock one. I dont think it looks that bad.
stockers!!!
I like the stock just fine. Why screw with it to change the way it looks, then end up getting worse reception? Its just an antenna.
I'm hoping to find something that will get the best of both worlds, function and style. I don't like how our current antenna looks so flimsy.
I use my iPod and remote in my car, so I'd like to raze the antenna down to the rubber base. I've seen a couple, and I like the look.
The stock one is decent if you think about it toyota/scion would have used another antenna if it would have had better reception

Not true. Parts such as antennae are chosen by comparing its performance to its cost of production. If the cost to produce the antenna is too high, it won't be put on the car. Luckily, the stock antenna gets very good reception and is relatively inexpensive to produce. Remember, car companies' main objective is to make money. If you want further proof, look at other accessories, like the door sill enhancements offered by Scion. You can buy them online for about $60 and install them yourself (a simple snap-in procedure) or you can pay over $100 to have the dealer pop them in for you. All the accessories are like this.Originally Posted by K20si

and a 2' super-shorty that isn't on our site yet, but email me for more details (I have them in stock).
