Talking Cf Hood Question!

im going to replace my stock hood to a cf oem hood, and was wondering if it is difficult to swapping out the hoods? i have no experience or skill watsoever so i dont wanna MESS UP LOL wat r the step by steps?, so is it easy enough for a noob like me to do or should i take it to a professional? thanxx

well if you want your windshield sprayer you will have to cut the openings in the hood. its simple besides that.

hmm.. you just need at least one other friend to help you out..

a panel puller will also be useful.. and if you intend on keeping your spray nozzles and don't have the holes pre-drilled... you need a dremel and a facemask.

make sure u have hood pins to prevent it from flying off .. i recomend a seibon hood and some sparco hood pins .. i wish i bought a seibon hood .. i hav a JSP and it duznt really line up that well .. hardly noticable but i can spot it .. i love it tho

Go with the Aero hood latches. They are sharper, more secure, and cut down on turbulence. Most CF hood manufactures are adding hood latch plates so that you are not required to have hood pins.

You still might be able to convert to Aero latches. Deft Racing sells them

those aero pins look like they were coppied off of the top secret pins, only about a hundred bucks cheaper. they look really nice
