No.... only If when doing so you flaten or constrict the pipe.

The origins of the angled exhuast go back to someone doing it on ( i think) an S15 silva.
The best route for exhuast gases is a straight line. Alot of cars you have to go around suspensions, control arms and all. And on the S15 the straightest route was an angle.
well it grew from there to a way of looking good. In the tC angled is actually a pretty straight piping design.
So no, no power lost. Matter of personal preference.

yup .. i love mine (Megan Racing Drift Spec) it's a slight slant to the right .. not like the STI .. it looks completley bent to be lmao.. but no power loss .. it looks really cool
