Waxing glass roof?

    Default Waxing glass roof?

    What does everyone do to clean the roof of the car? Do you just wax the glass like the rest of the car or are you guys just using glass cleaner?

    I just use a good glass cleaner. I don't think it's really neccessary to wax glass.

    I don't wax the glass top either. I don't think anyone can really see the top anyways.

    I use "Invisible Glass" on all the windows and the glass top. Streak free for me.

    I too use Invisible Glass, it works well. I also use Rain-X, which is like a wax for windows.

    Windex works fine also just not on aftermarket tinted windows

    Use Rain-X on all of your glass surfaces. You'll love it! Keeps the glass from spotting as much, and allows the water/rain to pretty much just blow off at highway speeds.

    you have to put some kind of treatment on your roof, its black glass if you let it go you will get water spots in the glass that will never come out. I used rain x on mine but any kind of wax is great for you sun roofs. (dont use wax on your drivers, passenger or windshield)

    Mequires/Mothers Clay kit will make the glass super slick. I use the Turtle Wax ICE system and yes, I do wax the glass.
