Here is a very nice tutorial that I found online. Its not a tc, but the same methods should apply...

Have a look: Lexus LS400: How to Smoke/Tint Tail Lights

the spray on VHT Nightshades can dull/fade over time... the tint doesn't really... just another thing to think about.

for the instructions on this website to spray paint your tails that would be best???
    ( Lexus LS400: How to Smoke/Tint Tail Lights )

cuz i don't want them to have that smoked look like i want more of a black look and my friend put that tape/film on his tails and when i felt them felt like the adhesive was all dry in the outer part so it was kinda nasty..

Post About tinting rear and possibly front lights

What is better the spray tint or the vinyl that you can buy to put on your lights? Let me know if you guys have tried either, thanks

Custom tc is trustable. The tint overlay is more of a sticker. You have to get the adhesive side wet then stick it to the tails. smooth out the middle so it has no bubbles and it makes a base to work with. Then take a heat gun and begin to work out the creases and bubbles on the outer edges. Basic rundown of overlays. Dunno id spray-on is any easier.

Paint Protection Film - XPEL Technologies Corp. These are the real deal; high quality and durable. A little difficult to put on and requires the use of a heat gun. I have them on all my cars with no problems. Project tC has had blue shaded ones on for about 2 years now and they still look new.
