Default opinion on this grill

So lately I've been looking at getting a grill and stumbled upon this one on ebay. I was wondering if anyone ever ordered one from this ebay dealer and had an opinion about the grill. I plan on ordering the gloss black powder coated upper and lower w/ the gloss black tc emblem....here's the link, tell me what you think

eBay Motors: SCION TC FIG FIGURE CUSTOM GRILL GRILLE 04 05 06 07 08 (item 230178634700 end time Oct-11-07 21:05:20 PDT)

Looks slick and does not add much weight, if any, like the billets do. Not sure of what color your tC is, but I say, go for it.

It's nice but I like the RS stainless grills on the 2006 Blue Blitz, But thats most likely because I have one! ( see my new photos in the gallery) But really, black on black would look good. To install the grill I'm sure you will have to remove the front bumper to get to the clips that hold the grill in, not a real big job.

No need to remove anything. The snaps into the bumper cover from behind, but you can reach down and snap it back into place.

Hmmm, maybe my arms are to fat? hehe! But from what I seen to remove the stainless grill from my 2006 you would have to remove the front face to get to the bottom clips. But then again my arms are to Fat!

P.S. nice to be back on line stopping in and waving to you all!

Upper grille is 2 piece + the emblem. The lower is a single piece.

I have that grille without the emblem... you remove the stock grille without removing the bumper... you drill holes in the tabs that were holding the OEM grille in and zip tie the new FigGrille in place. I was skeptical... but its sturdy and easy to put in. If I remember mine is "gloss black" powdercoat ... they have a grille for every piece... full lower half or one like mine with the fog lights... even the outer vents if you want them.

These guys are great, once you tell them exactly what you want they ship it out ASAP...

I'm in Rhode Island, it is a bit high but as you know Rhode Island is very small, so there are not many places to go and the other shops are kind of shady so I'd rather pay a bit more and have good quality. Plus when I bought the car it already had tint but since I bought the car out of state in order to register it I had to have it inspected so I had to rip the old stuff off which left glue all over the windows, they wanted to charge me to remove the glue but since I was a repeat customer they gave me a discount on that.

I actually think those fog lights look very nice. I have never seen those before on the tC (yellow)
