Default shift knobs

Anyone have a suggestion for a good one? I dont really like how huge the stock one is... I've been looking at a Greddy weighted one but I can only find them in chrome, and i was kinda wanting to go with black to match the interior. Any suggestions? Pictures would be appreciated.

Do you really need a weighted shifter? I find that the trans shifts gears rather easily.

I have a MOMO... love it... Gets a lil cold in the mornings, but I love the feel of the "ball" style knobs

You can just cut it down... Really simple I did it with a hack saw it took about 5 minutes to cut through it then rethreaded the stick with a threading bolt and put a new shift knob on.

That works for cosmetics only... the short throw shifter DOES shorten the throw, just cutting it... doesn't... cut it... just makes it look nicer.

There's a shifter I want that I found on Ebay... MonsterKnobs... its made of some sort of resin... its the size of a pool ball and only comes in black(an 8 ball without the white 8 on it)... its got brass/copper threads inserted so it threads right on...

Never gets hot... Never gets cold... I like it cuz its nice and easy to look at... not flashy or obnoxious with LED's and Carbon Fiber or Aluminum. I'm picking one up soon.

Just checked, 1.25 pitch. I think the bolt size maybe M14???? .468 is the overall bolt diameter.

I am considering the Skunk2 but it doesnt say if its threaded to fit on the stock shifter? Could you tell me if it is. How does it look with the silver ring thats on the boot? Is that ring quite a bit larger than the lower diameter of the shift knob?
