Default Headlight Question

I got some 08 headlights for my 07 and a black thing on the bottom of the light was broken when I opened it. It can clip on and off but the large piece broke off of the clips. I wanted to see if anyone knew if the 07 headlight had the same clip so that I could just reuse that one.

That is a front bumper cover attachment clamp. They should be same for all years as the body kit is not altered between the years.

I e-mailed Sparks and they found in their forums that it is taken off when installing it on an 07. Either way it should be fine to install. I'll grab a camera and document it all.

It was dark, cold and wet when I did it so I didn't bring a camera, but there wasn't much to document. You were right (of course) the one from the 07 came off and snapped on the 08 headlights. Other than that it was just a direct replacement.

I had to swap them between my '05 OEMs and the new Eagle Eyes.
