In my opinion it is worth the money, I haven't had a chance to get a new one but I had one for my truck which was black and there wasn't one spot on when I was done and I never touched it with a rag or chamois.

its basically a filter on your hose it filters out all the hard water aka "minerals" which leave those lovely white marks : ) but it is worth it

Some autoparts stores and RV centers carry a water filtration system that is small, inexpensive, does better, and connects directly to the hose/faucet. I have yet to get mine to come out spotless.

well mr. clean's autodry system is pretty much an affordable and cheap home solution to produce filtered D.I. water..

real D.I. equipment costs a ton of money.. along with tank replacements.... eyah... moooola...

but as far as i've seen... mr. clean's auto dry is an awesome product for the money... thumbs up for me.

(but i have access to a pressure washer with D.I. tanks.... soo lol.. i don't need one myself... :P )

The RV product that I am talking about is an affordable alternative that works and lasts longer than the cartridge filter in the Mr Sparkle (Simpson's Parody). It is also throwed away when spent. $23.49 in this example at this RV Supply house.
