In my opinion..... ew. Make one yourself for bonous points, or paint the stock one. I'm just not a huge fan of chrome, but it looks like good quality.

i heard that the chrome parts on the inside actually reduce horsepower cuz of the extra heat build up from the chromeim not an expert on this, nor is the person who told me this - so it could be completely wrong!

LOL thank you, thank you! horray for me!![]()
I'm not sure if I get -1 for reviving an old ass thread, but I'm a fan of painting your own. Give it your own steeze. I actually just finished repainting mine. This time I used a brush. I'll post the pic once my computer at home decides to work again.

I painted the cover too :P (check my member rides page) but I'm wondering if painting the valve cover would look better, any one know how to do that?
It looks awful unless you have some kind of cover over it....

I don't know. The only good valve cover that I've seen was on a car at a meet I recently went to. The guy had the valve cover painted green and had a piece of aluminum engraved with scion on it.

Eh, chrome isn't my thing. I could go both ways, either its really nice, or horrible...Do they have a return policy?
Chrome isn't my cup of coffee either. It looks too ... weird.
They see me rollin', they hatin'! <3
I agree, I think the stock aluminum valve cover can look really nice.
Once I saw Navy's powder coated blue one, I got the idea to take the plastic cover off mine and and polish mine up.
I have been slowly working on mine by hand and so far, it looks pretty nice. I think I may finish it professionally though. Maybe even have it powder coated red.
