About LinkBackshey whats up everyone im new to the forum but not to moding cars. my friend just got a scion and shes came to me for some help. looking for pics of black tc with tint. please let me know what % and what type if you know. ive shown her pics of various cars with tint but she says " but how will it look on my car" thanks for the help

no pics, but 20% to me looks the best. it's dark enough that you can't tell who's inside, but let's enough light in to be able see outside. 35% is almost like not getting it done, 5% is ridiculous especially at night.
use exactly what the pros use - make sure it's black... not blueish like my friend and i did to mine! spend the extra cash!

Really? I was out at the local car mod shop and they were telling me to go with 25% or 35%..Keep in mind that I am from PA where the legal limit is 70% (cute right?)35% is almost like not getting it done,
From what I've seen of 25%..You can't see anything on the inside except for what is a bright color (orange/blue/red..ect). I have yet to see 35% in dirrect sun however.

i had 22% on my audi would post pics but dont know how. on my friends car i put 35%. in my option 22% looks perfect. on sunnys days u can see the outline of the person much can see who it is. i know that with a black car the tint will look darker especially with black interior.
i just need pics to show her what it will look like on her car.

i just got 35% done (the legal limit in MD) and it looks great. i can still see clearly at night, it looks dark from the outside, and on my black tC it looks seamless with the tinted sunroof.
