well do you want to paint them or would you want overlays? i would say go with overlays because it's a fix it ticket...if you paint them you would have to buy whole new tail light covers.
that is tru .. never thought of that till AFTER i painted mine lmao

ya, i just heard the tint overlays cracked in xtreme heat, and i live in TX. so that could be a problem...and whats a fix it ticket? its not illegal to have tinted tail lights here...and another problem is i want them completly blacked out! and the overlays dont come in pitch black.....![]()
ohh in cali its illegal to have them if you cant see the lights from a certain amount of feet away...so if its not illegal there i say just paint em.
and a fix it ticket is if you get pulled over and get written up for them then you can just take them off and go to the DMV and show someone that they arent there anymore and you wont have to pay or anything.
ooooo .. yea .. thats wat my boy sed .. the sun may dry it out or sumthin .. that would lead to cracking .. well glad i painted em![]()

I used the nightshade paint on my truck, I was happy with it just make sure you use a clearcoat because the nightshade paint isn't glossy.
I don't have any pics right now, but next time I use the truck I'll take a pic
Nightshades is nice!... You just need to take your time and get a nice clear on it... Of course followed by some fine grit wetsanding and polishing!
thats cool! thanks! i think i will get some nightshade and get it professionally done! im not that great with the whole painting thing! but thanks!![]()
thats nice lookin bro! is it possible to make them any darker becaust i was wanting mine pitch black!!! lol ya know!? i want you to be able to see no red unless i step on the break!![]()
Yes its possible, what you have to do is spray on a coat and let it dry then keep going until you get what you want, even though you want them black you still need to do that because it is possible to go too dark and then you won't even be able to see the brake light come through
alright! thanks bro! do you know where i could go to get this done professionally? like a name of a auto store that would hook me up?
