nice job on the mod! i like that a lot!
that looks really good did you make it yourself or have some place custom make it?
I actually made it myself, I cut out the scion logo portion and then used contact cement to fill in the gaps created by cutting it out. The t is obviously from the tC that I took off.
Probably a total of 4 hours work for cutting/painting etc. spread over 2 weeks.
very creative .. i've never seen that
i am impressed
start sellin them .. unless u want to be original

I am wanting to take my scion logo off front and back and paint them black and fill the letters in with white bc i have a white tC and i was wondering exactly how to remove them and what paint to use?![]()
flat head screw driver wrapped with a soft cloth so you don't scratch your paint.

I have put them back on with just black on them i will hand paint the white lettering but my problem is i lightly sanded them and spray painted them black but it came out not so smooth and ugly in my opinion. i mean they look ok but they dould look better. any suggestions on making them look smoother and not diy'ed and more professional
Just hit it with primer, dry, paint, dry paint, dry, clear coat.

so do i sand off the new black paint i just did or just go over it?
I didn't sand mine at all to begine with.
For you, I'd use a medium to fine grit sand paper. It'll get everything back to even, then you can spray the primer and paint on it.

oh ok. see i tried just painting with no primer and it wasnt grabbing so i sanded it a bit and kinda helped but it came out uneven and so now i am gonna try to know so of the paint off and start over with primer and still not sure hoe to get the letters white so yeah lol
My clear coat wrinkled up on meso now I have to start over as well. I may just dunk m emblem in nail polish remover, or paint thinner to strip the paint, and leave me with a blank slate again. Damn you clear coat!
Yeah primer is a must on anything you paint.
