Default Headlight Bulb brands... Which is the best?

Hi, I was hoping to get some advice on headlight bulbs.... I drive at night in the mountains in order to get to work with lots of Deer and Especially Large Elk.... I would like to replace my low beams and maybe the high beams with brighter lights. Thinking the High beams I want to be very bright and the ability to see the deer, but the low beams I would like a light blue to them (Still legal tho). Any suggestions on brands that people have liked? Might go HID but for now need to stay around 50 dollars or so.... Thanks!!

Well dont with HID's then becuased if you get a kit for 50 bucks then it is going tobe garbage. I would say silverstars, but our bulbs are h11's and they dont make them in that size.

So I would reccomend going with PIAA, they have alot of good bulbs. I also wouldnt reccomend getting blue because even though it looks cool, you are actually getting less light. Unless you go HID then that is a different story. The further away that you get from 4300K, which is the same brightnessas the sun. So it is up to you.

Spend the money and get the 5000K hid kit. Its waaaaaay better than piaa bulbs and they last longer. Mobile hid and mod-express have good kits for $129. They last for up to 5+ years and are brighter than stock bulbs.

what year tC do you have? if it's 08+, disregard the rest of this post...

with the legality issue (i know people hate this argument but) putting HIDs in reflector housings (05-07 tC) is illegal. people do it. most get away with it - i guess, but it is illegal. to be legal with HIDs, you have to get projector housings (08+ tC, retrofitting Scion - CustomLightz - The HID Retrofit Specialist or aftermarket from ebay stores scion tC projector headlights, Parts Accessories, eBay Motors items on eBay.com)
