Default Getting ready to paint interior trim!

just got my paint, sand paper and what not. gonna be painting my trim in my car red. for now probably only gonna do the speedometer trim and the waterfall.

anyone know how to take off the waterfall setup on an auto tc?

It's held in by clips, I have the manual but they are all held in the same way, you can pull it off with your hands, start at the top and just pull back, to take the piece off near the shifter you need to unscrew the shift knob and it should just lift right off but make sure you take the waterfall off first then the piece near the shifter, it makes it easier that way.

yeh i started today with prepping and sanding, too humid to paint. but sanding is a bit** haha the gauge pods though, they arent painted, so would i even need to sand them?

started actual painting today. clear coating most of it tomorrow. ill post pics asap. looks like its comin out pretty good.

thanks man, yeh, i did a piece primed it and all and then i dropped it in the grass, had to resand the entire primer. but its comin out good. the red is sick.

thanks everyone, yeah hours and hours of work but overall worth it. i used all duplicolor stuff. started with self etching primer. then sandable primer. then red acrylic enamel, then clear coat

dupli color is great paint .. dnt hav to worry about flakin or pealing
it does look like a long & teadious task .. but 100% props ..
