I was remembering the earlier times of tuning when Honda guys would switch their Honda emblems for Acura emblems. What do you guys think about switching Scion ones for Lexus emblem?

No insult to you in any way, but I personally think anytime someone switches badges, it's just plain rice.

The reason they switched badges back then was because the JDM stuff looked almost exactly the same way as the Stateside stuff, the JDM Scion tC frame is a stationwagon..
Exactly. Just like we have the Acura RSX, they called it the new Integra. I was just on another forum and they were talking about JDM fogs for the tC. How can they be JDM when the car is not sold in Japan? JDM stand for Japanese Domestic Market. Why would there be a market for it when it doesn't exist over there (unless someone ships one over there)? Either way, a tC does not really look like a Lexus, therefore it is rice![]()

Well I know it is not a Lexus or Anything like that but that's what customizing your ride is all about! I mean if you wanted it to be a ford then put a ford emblem on it! Ghetto? Maybe... Different.. of course and thats what it's all about.

Well, I can't knock you for doing your own thing. More power to you.

Nothing wrong with a lil customization. Some people get rid of theirs and some paint them. They are from the same lines, even though, more like distant cousins.
So what station wagon are we talking StreetBrawler89? The platform the tC was loosely based upon shares almost nothing physically interchangeable. It was more of a shared design concept. Yes, the tC is unique, setting the style and making the trends.

The tC is based off of the european Toyota Avensis.

Look at the Euro and the new Avensis. Like I said, they are related only in concept to the tC. No parts will swap over to ours which limits what we can pull from the Toyota parts bin.
