Not sure, but most ground effect and body kits require some minor trimming for a better fit. Lip kits are usually good to go out of the box but nothing is ever perfect. Before you prep and paint them, temporarily install them to check the fitment.

From what I hear, it all depends on the material. I just got my car back from MAACO and I was talking to the guy that works there about body kits. He was telling me that if the kit is fiberglass, you are looking at around 10 hours worth of PREP WORK ONLY. Even after all that is prepped and painted, it would still never fit right. He did tell me however that a polyurethane body kit will fit on without any prep work or problems. I have never installed one, I'm just repeating what I have heard.

That would be true as the error factor is from the molding process. Urethane can be precisely molded. Fiberglass has to be handlaid and leaves rough edges that either sanded off or not.

Racing Solution is also known to just have slight fitment problems. BUt than again if you compare the prices with other lip kits, it is wayyyy cheaper. Plus it looks pretty good. You dont really need modification, just dont expect it to fit exact like a light bulb in a socket.
