Unhappy Tail Lights Dont work right !!HELP!!

I just installed some new tail lights i bought. The install was super easy but now i notice the tail lights are not turning on at all while driving at night. I didn't switch out any bulbs or mess with wires, but whats crazy is that they DO work, theyre not burnt! but they dont stay on like every car on the road at night has red lights on while driving. what could the problem be??

First of all, what kind of taillights did you get?

crappy aftermarket ones i could only assume..

ones that are wired incorrectly and thus causing the fuses to blow and things not working.
    LEDs.... yay!

I got Altezza tail lights from K2Motor.com Actually the tail lights I got are just the plastic enclosure. There was no wiring involved, all i had to do is use the same OEM wires and bulbs. It doesnt make sense to me why they all sudden wouldnt work.

Yeah, i swapped in some aftermarket tails as well. They use the factory wiring harnass. I pulled it from the factory tails, put them in the aftermarket ones, and voila it worked. Perhaps you blew a fuse when unplugging them??? >.> Just throwing out ideas.

I got it fixed, yeah really stupid of me..it was the bulbs. I didnt realize the bulbs have 2 filaments inside! When i had checked the bulbs at first, I saw the filament was fine, but i didnt see that right above that one there is another very thin filament that was blown. So yeah, i bought new ones for $5 and everything is fine now. Thanks for everyones help anyway =D
