Talking Side Mirror Light Bulb removal.

Well, as the title states . . ."blah blah blah" I was wondering if you guys/girls know how to remove the bulb or better yet, how to open that up without breaking anything!! Wanted to get white lights instead of ugly yellow Please help?

Default Any Info would be great

I am also looking to do the same with my side mirror lights, although i am clueless as to how to begin. I seen a picture with someone who did it and it looked badass. Hyper white looked so much better then amber.

it is deffinatly a custom job and if you dont like taking risks, dont do it, if you take off the mirror cover and unscrew it off then take off the wire harness, you will see that it is not an easy install, if you dont like the yellow, black them out like i did

the stock leds are actually called "snapled" which you won't find in white.. however you can use white superflux leds

for any application you will need to sand down (i used the dremel and the sander to sand the metal bare) to have the solder able to connect properly

and then you know.. before that.. just taking the assembly out.. and then use a cutting wheel at a fairly good speed.... you don't want it too high or lots of melted burning goo... (baddddd)

and as always ALWAYS WEAR EYE PROTECTION and perhaps a mask too and other things to protect your face from bits of plastic pieces that fly up.... (and possibly a big goo of hot melted plastic.... owwwww)

blah blah.... and then hmm.. found that hot glue gun puts it back together really well.. if not, you can go the slow method of getting some silicone...

or if you're hardcore and never really want to open it ever again without dremeling it open.... jb weld.. lol. (not recommended)

neah.. not really... most people are cheap and it's just much more worth it to do it yourself.
