What do you think of the scion tc tyc led rear lights ?

I say nay cuz they just dont fit the car in my opinion. I mean the rice look is sometimes ok but those lights are too rice for me.

hey my other two cars are hondas, i don't have altezzas on them, not all honda owners love those

I have LED lights on MY rear, and i'll tell you.. Personally, I was indifferent about the lights.. Well, not so much indiffirent, but rather undecided on whether i really did like them or not. I didn't ask for them. My only option at the sh*t-scion-dealer I bought my scion from, they told me that they couldn't order mine to my specification, and had to take one from the lot. THe point is, I wanted a FLINT MICA in standard Trans.- the only thing they had on the lot at my desposition was the the car (w/ the color, and trans) with the pedestal spoiler (nasty..) , and the LEd lights (nastier). I said 'fuggit- i'll take it" Bottom line is, the car looks great with a the spoiler, and I couldn't picture the car looking any better without the LED lights. THE ONLY THING IS they can be kinda bright, but they look totally different ( in a good way) - and I didn't even consider those dark/tinted covers- that sounds like a great idea- I definitely say "YAY"- your car will definitely stand out from the back-

I have the TYC lights with the tinted overlays and i think they look pretty amazing.. It fits the rest of the car being BLACK SAND PEARL and BLACK Tenzo R 18's w/chrome lip. They look really good at night because the led's reflect off of the overlays..

Well, considering the "altezza" look was originated by Toyota, it's not as bad as seeing them on, say, a pickup truck or a Yukon

I also think the TYC tails really suit the style of the car---they look good with the center brake light, & they match the general design of the headlights much better than the stock crystal-red tails. .. Sounds weird, but I tend to think that headlights & taillights that resemble each other in design is a good, fluid look.

I still think the $375 could have been better spent

I have them on my black sand pearl, and they look freakin' fantastic. I think they look better on the black than any other of the colors, but that may just be me.

My Son's RS 3.0 Blizzard Pearl White has those with Red. Same as the ambers (like mine). Either one looks awesome IMAO. Tinted ovelays would look sweet.

I hate those tails... its too ricey to me... shiny plastic chrome = yuk

I found these on E-Bay... very close to stock... not flashy.. just clean... with a full LED third brake light(mine is smoked) its a nice clean ass end

I still want some custom overlays for the bottom silver strip though....
