Does anyone know if the preminum audio upgrade on the 2008 models has a dual line display for iPod or is it a single line scroll like the base radio? I've asked a few sales reps but no one knows and all the cars I've looked at do not have radio's installed.

I'd say it's multi-line. The reason is that it's not a dot matrix type display, but a graphics type (it can play small clips, etc) so it can display stuff (pixels) in any position (or line). This is just what I'm concluding based on the type of display. Here's a picture if it helps.
