i google'd it and couldn't find anything about the green light...my guess would be that if its hooked straight to the battery then the light would never go off (im not much of an audio expert)....did you follow the instructions, and does it work properly?
it works fine just that light stays on... i hooked it up to harness i bought through scion.... anyone notice this or fix this if it isnt right?
dont kno much of it but alo tof my friends got subs and when they shut off there car it turns off as well the light should go off when you turn off your tC if that light is always on one day you wont have batt. to even turn on your tC so maybe might wanna go to the scion dealer and tell them you got it from them and i think they wouldn't mind helping you since you purchase the sub directly from scion. if not just give your scion dealer a call.
If the light stays on while the car is off... then the light (and possibly other circuits) is draining your battery.
My guess... you hooked it up incorrectly.
Behind the radio there are two power circuits.... constant power and switched power (accessory). Constant power will be +12V at all times. This is usually to keep things stored in memory and stuff like that. Switched power will have 0V when the car is off, and +12V when the car is running or the key is switched to Acc.
I'm not sure about the Scion Bazooka sub, but most amplifiers and amp/sub combos have 3 connections: constant power (+12V), switched power (usually called remote-turn-on), and ground (gnd). Sounds like you need the switched power instead of constant power.
Good luck,

If I understand you correctly, you this is the Scion authorized optional accessory. According to the install manual, it is a straight-forward Plug and Play affair.
1. Is the green L.E.D. lit on the VSE
Subwoofer? If not, check for 12 volts on pins
of the VSE Subwoofer with the ignition on.
If either pin doesn t indicate 12 volts, check
T-Harness connectors behind the radio.
2. Is the 14-pin Molex connector securely
connected to the VSE Subwoofer?
13. Test and Set Up Procedures
(a) If system is installed correctly, the VSE
Subwoofer will power up when the vehicle s
ignition is turned on. (This can be confirmed
by the lighting of the POWER L.E.D. on the
Gain Control module of the unit.) (Fig.9-5)
The manual clearly states the power LED on the gain will activate when the ignition is turned on. JRW is absolutely correct, there maybe more to it than an incorrect pinned molex. Take it to the dealership.
