Default Question on Scion Security

Hey everybody,
I was wondering if it was possible to attach extra shock sensors or other types of security sensors to the already present Scion security system.
I did some searching around the forum but haven't really come up with anything yet and what I did find didn't really address what I needed.
This might be a bit off topic but is there any body with a flip key with the Scion security alarm already built in. Something like -->

Thanks!

Never seen anything like this switch key offered for Scion. As for adding the extra sensors to the TVIP (Toyota Vehicle Intrusion Protection aka Scion Security), I am working on it. I am also working on adding a horn chirp for lock and unlock. I will have it completed soon and will post in the articles section.

Thank you Navy. Good luck on it.

So far it looks like there will have to be a small electronic module to interface the hazard light circuit to the horn circuit for the audible chirp. Toyota produced 2 different series of TVIP (Scion Security) for the tC. I have the earlier one that has a small, 1-wire capped-plug near the glass breakage sensor. That maybe a input signal ground. Finding the wire schematics on these TVIP has proved troublesome so I will have to trace the wires out.

Yep, I was thinking of you just 3 days ago.....when I found that dang cover. It was under my barracks room bed. Be staying at the GF's place so much that I rarely been in that room for like a year now. Oh well, still need it?

I am going to move this thread over to the proper section.

Thanks Navy, but not right now. Still trying to work out the deal in trading in my car for a tC. Hopefully I could get it done within a few weeks. I'll let you know once I get my tC. Thanks again Navy.
