question on screens

This is a discussion on question on screens within the Audio and Electronics forums, part of the Scion tC category; i was thinking bout gettin a 7in screen for 07 tc so i was wonderin would it still close with ...

    Cool question on screens

    i was thinking bout gettin a 7in screen for 07 tc so i was wonderin would it still close with a 7in screen the lil cover that covers the radio i was also wondering rearview camera when i put it in reverese thepicture comes up yay or na

    Default 7 inch screens

    I have a 7 inch touch screen in my tc and my radio cover closes just fine. The only thing is i have a 05 tc however i'm pretty sure they didnt change the size or depth of the radio din. HOPE IT HELPS

    they changed the door on the '06+ to accomodate the extra room needed for the volume knob (and ipod knobs for those who have an ipod unit)

    however, it doesn't really matter regardless and most double din units will still need to sit a little further back.. which will need modifications to the stock bracket.
    (just drilling extra holes)

    what kinda touch screen at you looking at. I was thinking about doing the same thing but i dont hae satelite radio and i dont want to have a bunch of wasted buttons on my screen that i NEVER used

    I ended up taking my door off as it did not allow me to have my screen tilted all the way back for my 7" motorized unit. Putting the radio at the bottom the radio at the bottom could have made it better, but I wanted it ontop for the gauges. These were a couple of variations that I tried.

    Navy, when did you paint the waterfall? And I got my decals last week. I just haven't had a chance to put both on. I only have one on right now. I'll post pics later if I can.
