HELP! confused girl needs to upgrade stereo---but how??

I've got an '07 with the upgraded pioneer head unit and everything else stock...After I got my cold air intake installed, the max volume dropped for some reason, so now my music's too quiet. I don't know how to fix that and anyway, I wanted to upgrade. Any suggestions? Where should I start? I don't want to spend too much, and I really don't know what I need, so specifics are much appreciated.

I am not an audio guru, but the basic mod is new subs, and an amp. Then you can get new component speakers and tweeters or a new head unit.

any specific brands you recommend? i don't even know what to look for

also, is it even worth it to upgrade until i figure out what's wrong with the original in the first place??

Take your car to the dealer and tel them what us going wrong with the HU. They should fix it for free if its under warranty. and I recommend JL audio, Memphis Audio, and some higher end kicker and rockford stuff. As far as the head unit I highly suggest the Pioneer Avic D3.

as far as head units go, is it really necessary to upgrade? i don't need a navi at all, i just want better sound.

It does give better sound, and it makes it easier to hook a system up to. So just get one without a Navi

racing seats are universal? i was honestly looking at seats the other day (just to put a price to them on my list) and i didnt find much. but maybe it was cuz i was being specific to tC's. if they are universal, then thats cool

I believe the seats are u jus need brackets for ur car .. I'm jus gunna hav them weld them to my stock brackets .. he needs his brackets for his Sparco seats .. I'll post pics wen there in

plus if u bet money on track races then a sleeper is wat u need .. a semi decent tC wit 500WHP is the pick over a bone stock one wit the SICKEST kit .. paint job and rims ever made .. but that's my opinion once again
