Default How to keep the waterfall door????

I want a new head unit... and i'd prefer a double din navi... but only if i can keep the waterfall door. i can;t find a good thread/article on how to do it though.

searching on scionlife is a joke. I get so many useless threads i dont need.

people say you "have to drill an extra hole in the radio mount"...

WHERE??? no one can tell me where to drill the darn hole.

i have no problem using a line out converter or alpman harness to keep the stock radio and add a sub, but like i said, i want a new head unit and don't want to do twice the work to keep the sub.

please tell me what to do! pics would be nice also if you have them..

Thanx TBITB, that thread gave me a few ideas...

I'm going to pay off my cc either this week or next, and my next project will be an in dash navi and possibly subs. Either that or eibachs and a new rear sway. Gah, why must it be so hard to decide!!!!!!
