Default Sunroof WTF!!!

So my sunroof is being a jerk... when i got from the middle position that it auto stops at when you close it to closed it seems to not have enough power to push down the wind reflector thing and goes back to full open automatically. i can get it to close if i just kind of tap the buttom little by little until its started to push it down then its fine. could someone please tell me what the hell is going on... im so confused.

p.s while im at it i cant loosen the bolts for the axle back. is there some sort of trick or do i just suck?!?!

I cant help you with the sunroof, but for the exhaust question, you just suck. Jk. On the ones ive done, the bolts come right off.

LOL both your sunroof and exhaust are being jerkwads!

You need to go back to toyota/scion and ask them to prolly replace the motor, or maybe the track is dirty.

With the exhaust... lift some weights or something then try again hahaha j/p

Default ...uhhh oh! same here

mine is doing the same thing....so i went up to a shop and they said that in the past couple months they had seen over 8 scion tc's come thru wondering if they could fix it. they said that some of the manufactured motors that run the sunroof in scion's can loose power and they wont be able to close because they "give up"...so they said i would need to order a new motor. i didnt want to beleive that so i went up to the nearest toyota/scion dealership and they said the same thing! they said it should close if your going over 20 mph because it will keep that power built up. butttt i wanted it competly fixed and so i asked how much a new sunroof motor would cost me and they said with install and everything else i would be looking at 1000$! so ya! i am not opening my sunroof for the time being! hope this helps bro!

do need to compress the springs... just loosen the bolts.. might take some more brute force if needed, but they'll come off.

also.. the moonroof issue... grease up the tracks.
(hah. new motor? that's a new excuse i haven't heard before..)
