Default Premium stereo (possible factory defect)

Does anyone else have this problem with the lvl 2 premium stereo? mine always looses connection with the ipod after i turn the car of for a couple of minutes to a couple of hours and than i have to disconnect and reconnect the ipod. Funny thing is i also had a rental from Scion that was a XA that has the same unit and it did the exact same thing. So trying to see if anyone else has this issue or not with the 09 scion unit?

Sorry for being so late on this...

Is just the IPOD interface dropping or is the entire radio going off? It might be a power saver feature.
