plug in the aux first... then you'll be able to press the aux button and have it come up.
and what do you mean you can't find the 'aux' button?? do you have a 2006 or what?
do you have a volume knob on your radio?
LEDs.... yay!

it's the stiock pioneer cd player for scion tc, but i dont know why it doesnt have aux button, it's do have volume and mode button on the wheel
LongVu I have the same problem with mine. There is NO aux button on the dash...and I can't figure it out.
maybe you dont have the stock radio, could you give us pics?
Once you plug the aux cable in...you will use the MODE button and cycle through the options and you will find AUX...or you can buy my 07 radio...jk
Lookin for a new set of wheels...hit me up

I've actually tried that and it doesn't work either. I just bought a new aux cable on ebay yesterday so hopefully that will work. Before I was just using one that my husband has, so maybe it just wasn't the right one. Wish me luck! And if it does'nt work, it was only 4 bucks including shipping....
uhh.. you have pictures of your radio or can you show us what it looks like?
LEDs.... yay!

has this been resolved? hmm
well if it's this radio:
as you can see the aux button is to the right of the volume button smack dab in the middle and idk if it goes for the 06, but i found the aux to be inside the middle arm rest. am i right?
aux should be able to go to that mode even without a cable attached to it, unless scion did some crazy thing to make it seem like all is failing, like the old honda headunits (couldn't use your radio if you disconnected it without using some crazy code thing)

Ridin' Stock
Yes resolved....turns out whoever had the car before me took out the 06 stereo and put in an 05'. So...now I'm looking for an 06 to put back in it. Thanks for the input in trying to help though.
I like the 2006 models but aftermarket decks are the way to go. Just my opinion. I have a buddy whos tryin to sell a lilliput 7" touch screen if you know anyone whos interested. He bought the deck then got in a wreck, its still in the box and everything. The mounting kit got messed up in the wreck so hes just selling the deck... Its brand spankin new :P. This is a steal, so...anyone whos interested just pm me. peace
Need some pics and more info on the screen plz....

I forgot to add that this monitor does need an additional unit, like a car pc. which was also damaged in the wreck i spoke of before. I can find a good one if you want me to? Or you can just listen to the FM radio that it comes with :P. either way, your saving alot of money, brand new stuff without brand new pricing![]()
