plug in the aux first... then you'll be able to press the aux button and have it come up.

and what do you mean you can't find the 'aux' button?? do you have a 2006 or what?
do you have a volume knob on your radio?
    LEDs.... yay!

Squall, why are your panties in a bunch? Your last couple of posts have been filled with attitude.

I've actually tried that and it doesn't work either. I just bought a new aux cable on ebay yesterday so hopefully that will work. Before I was just using one that my husband has, so maybe it just wasn't the right one. Wish me luck! And if it does'nt work, it was only 4 bucks including shipping....

    has this been resolved? hmm
    well if it's this radio:

as you can see the aux button is to the right of the volume button smack dab in the middle and idk if it goes for the 06, but i found the aux to be inside the middle arm rest. am i right?
aux should be able to go to that mode even without a cable attached to it, unless scion did some crazy thing to make it seem like all is failing, like the old honda headunits (couldn't use your radio if you disconnected it without using some crazy code thing)

I forgot to add that this monitor does need an additional unit, like a car pc. which was also damaged in the wreck i spoke of before. I can find a good one if you want me to? Or you can just listen to the FM radio that it comes with :P. either way, your saving alot of money, brand new stuff without brand new pricing
