Please Help Thank You In Advance Alarm Question!!!

Hey whatsup all new to the forum! I have a 2006 scion tC and i am trying to remove my factory alarm because i damaged my key FOB and the imoblizer is activated i know that if i disconnect the alarm from the wiring harness that it will allow me to use my car as this happened on my Subaru WRX STi a while back and i just disconnected the factory alarm, so my question is were is the factory alarm located on my 2006 scion tC its an automatic if that helps is it underneath the center console like on the subaru's????? please help

Hmm... that's a good question. You could try asking the dealership? All I know is the thing that goes "chirp" and "BWEEE-OOO-BWEEE-OOO" is under the hood. At least, mine is, by the left tower.
