    Default gauge light issues

I was trying to hook up my system, and i think i blew the fuse for my gauge lights. I put in a new fuse but they still won't work. Did i buy the wrong fuses? i bought 10's? which fuse is it exactly, or what could the problem be?

instrument cluster lights are run off the 7.5A PANEL fuse.
the owner's manual has that information.. fyi.

you bought the wrong size fuse, however i doubt you replacing it and it still not working is the problem..

more, you didn't replace the right fuse in the first place.
and also btw, never install a higher rated fuse than it was intended for in a spot.

check the PANEL fuse, replace, and report back.
    LEDs.... yay!

alrght thanks... i'll try that out... on a slightly different question... those pics that you have streaming on your little picture square thing next to your name.. i dono what to call it, anyway, i noticed that one of them has the area around the gauges, like reflective? i dono if im seeing it right, in any case, i really like it, and wanted to know how to do that myself. extremely nice touch.

    good stuff!

btw, those gauges pictured had a painted bezel, so the slight gloss from the paint made it a little reflective.
    LEDs.... yay!

well, the reflective thing is just you really, take off the gauge bezel and paint it.

if you're looking at the gauge illumination being a different color, it requires disassembly of the cluster itself down to the circuit board, at which then you desolder the old leds and put in new ones.

i can do that, or if you know how to solder, you can as well. you'll just need the supplies.
    LEDs.... yay!
